St Stephen’s Day Carol

Good King Wenceslas is a Christmas carol set on St Stephen’s day – also known in the UK as Boxing Day. The good king looks out from his castle window to see a poor man gathering logs to take home for fuel to heat his home. He asks the page where the man lives, and they set out together in the cold deep snow to take the man a feast.

Here, Tom sings the role of the king, Carol is the page and Maggie’s Music Makers are the ensemble narrating the tale:

St Margaret’s Church Prestwich holds CCLI licences CCL 79250, MRL 775231 and 466111 for music streaming and One Licence M-40120 for music streaming.
