Formed in 2017, St Margaret’s Voices is the parish choir, and is a key part of Music at St Margaret’s.

Singers of all abilities are welcome – there is no audition process, and no expectation that you are able to read music. Singing techniques, musicality – and above all, confidence – are nurtured and developed within a supportive and friendly group.
As with all church choirs, the primary purpose of the group is to support congregation hymn singing. We also offer anthems most weeks. More recently we have taken part in services broadcast on BBC Radio 4 and Radio 4 Extra.
Rehearsals are every Wednesday in church from 5.30-6.30pm. If you are interested in joining the choir, or booking the choir for your wedding, please contact Carol or Tom.
During the 2020/21 pandemic restrictions the group met via Zoom, and became really quite adept at recording “virtual choir videos”, reminding us that when all else fails, sing:
