Formed in 2017, Maggie’s Music Makers is the parish singing group, and is a key part of Music at St Margaret’s.

Singers of all abilities are welcome – there is no audition process, and no expectation that you are able to read music. Singing techniques, musicality – and above all, confidence – are nurtured and developed within a supportive and friendly group.
The primary purpose of the group is to support congregation hymn singing from within the congregation – members are not required to wear robes or sit separately from their friends or family.
Singing practices are every Wednesday in church from 5.30-6.30pm. During the 2020/21 pandemic restrictions the group met via Zoom, and became really quite adept at recording “virtual choir videos”, reminding us that when all else fails, sing:
