Pentecost, aka Whitsun

Welcome to our service of Holy Communion for Pentecost – which you may also know as Whitsun. This is the day upon which we celebrate the gift of the Holy Spirit.

We begin with the traditional Pentecost hymn, “Come Holy Ghost, our souls inspire”. The first verse is an unaccompanied solo:
