My Religion
Nature is my God and mother Earth is my religion.
The birds creating songs and the bugs all chirping with them.
The trees sway in the breeze as the sun shines through the clouds.
The dew on the grass is glistening shining on everything around.
The peacefulness and quiet and the views which are sublime.
Make you contemplate your life and make you take the time;
To stop and think about who it is you want to be,
What you want to achieve from life and how to bring about harmony?
As reflected in the wildlife all living together, side by side.
Jesus walks beside us through the most difficult of times,
He gives us strength when we are weak, picks us up when we fall down,
Dusts us off so we can go again and straightens out our Crown.
It’s not about how far we fall but how we get back up,
That inner resilience that Faith can bring, shows we’re made of toughest stuff.
So, remember when you’ve given up that we are never alone?
This journey of life that we are on, is Jesus, leading us home.

Lord God,
You have called your servants to ventures
of which we cannot see the ending;
by paths as yet untrodden;
through perils unknown.
Give us faith to go out with courage,
not knowing where we go,
but only that your hand is leading us,
and your love supporting us.
Through Jesus Christ, our Lord.

Life
This journey card life is a long, long road Where it will take you, nobody knows
There’ll be highs, there’ll be lows, there’ll be many plateau’s
And twists will pop-up to keep you on your toes
Life isn’t packaged with ribbons and bows, And you’ll have to work hard to achieve all your goals.
It takes time to find happiness and cheer up the soul
But you’ll feel when you found it that you’ve won the gold
So, when you’re downhearted from blow after blow
And you find that You’ve got lots of worries and woes.
Be good to yourself and take everything slow. And then soon you’ll be back to yourself…. And you’ll glow!
