We began with the hymn “Lord for the Years”

The readings were Daniel 12.1-3, Hebrews 10.11-14,19-25 and Mark 13.1-8
The post-communion anthem was “I Believe” (Overington). The text was taken from a poem by an anonymous author, written on the walls of a WWII concentration camp in Cologne.
The formal act of remembrance included laying the wreath of poppies and a two-minute silence marked by the Last Post and Reveille.
The service concluded with the hymn “For the healing of the Nations”
