I am continuing to get to grips with the role of Gift Aid secretary.
We have taken support and advise from Paul Bailey, Diocesan Giving Advisor, and with permission from the PCC are currently in the process of joining the Gift Aid Lite Scheme. This scheme is HMRC approved, agency-based service to support the administration and claiming of gift aid donations.
The system will make it easier to manage claims and will give me all the support and training I need to fulfil this role. As part of the process of registering with the new system new declaration forms need to be completed to ensure we have the correct details for claiming Gift Aid.
