St Margaret's Church Prestwich

Sunday Club offers children and young people the opportunity to meet in Church House once a month. At this monthly session we begin by sitting together to share breakfast snacks, this is followed by singing, stories and craft activities to encourage children to explore and develop their faith. Sunday Club numbers have increased during the past year and we enjoy lively sessions with an average of 12 – 15 children.

Some Sunday Club children regularly attend the all-inclusive service held on the first Sunday of the month, older children serving as acolytes and younger children using the child friendly space near the baptism area. Our next step is to continue to support and encourage more families to attend the all-age service by liaising with the clergy team.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank our dedicated team who continue to work hard to make these monthly meetings interesting and accessible to all.
