After tonight’s broadcast by Boris Johnson, we will no longer opening the church for private prayer. Of course we can still pray at home, and if you can pray at some point between 8.30-9.30am and 7.00pm-8.00pm in addition to your usual prayer time, it would be good. We have WhatsApp group for prayer requests and Rev Sue will send out information about a videoconferencing app called ‘Zoom’ with which we can contact each other and pray together.
We can of course, contact each other via telephone, E-mail and text and it is important that we support each other as best we can. It is also important that we follow the government’s directions to stay at home so that we can protect our NHS and save lives. For up to date information please look at the government website. For how it affects us as a church please look at St. Margaret’s, Prestwich website and Facebook.
You are in my thoughts and prayers – family, church family and friends. Stay safe. You are all very special to me.
Love and virtual hugs, Deborah.
And you are very special to us also Deborah- take care and look after yourself. May God bless and protect you. Love Christine 💕
