St Margaret Prestwich

Prestwich and Kersal Mission Community

St Margaret’s and St George’s are both members of Prestwich and Kersal Mission Community within the Bury and Rossendale Deanery.

Parish Buildings

St Margaret's Church, St George's Church, St Margaret's Church House and the Lady Wilton Hall (Simister) are all available for hire. Please submit your enquiries via the Contact Page. St Margaret's Community Centre is not currently taking bookings.

Weekly Services

St Margaret’s Church serves the Holyrood district of Prestwich; St George’s Church serves Simister. Sunday Services at St Margaret’s are at 8am (Holy Communion), 9.45am (Sung Eucharist) and 4pm on some Sundays (said, style varies, check the calendar below). Sunday services at St George’s are at 11.15am. St Margaret’s also offers a service of Holy Communion at 10am every Wednesday, followed by coffee.
